Exposure (Umbrella Destruction), Performance, 2020
Exposure (Umbrella Destruction) was a performance piece in which I used one of my previous toilet paper pieces, Shelter (Umbrella) in the rain.
I often work to build security for myself only to discover weaknesses and continually fear the loss of that security. Exposure is a tangible representation of that struggle: looking to things to protect me that were never meant to.
