About
Hanna Allen is an Atlanta-based artist with a BFA in Sculpture (minor in Art History) from Savannah College of Art and Design. Most days, she can be found in her garage studio where her dog, Tuck, provides support as her administrative assistant and very best friend.
Allen uses non-traditional media to explore concepts of transformation, redemption, and faith. Her recent sculptures focus on juxtaposition—swings, ladders, and veils constructed from toilet paper speak to the metamorphosis of something weak and unappealing into something strong, beautiful and complex.
