Artist Statement

Toilet paper has one use in society: one specific, expected use: waste management. It is not considered to be a thing of beauty, strength, or significant meaning. In my work, I can completely transform that perception. I can fight for the potential of something weak and destined for disposal to become strong, intricate, and meaningful. That is why I choose toilet paper as my medium.
